Last weekend. I was given the opportunity by Lizian Events to do Tarot readings at their Lincolnshire Well Being Show. The Epic Center certainly was Epic. Excited and nervous, this was by first big show. I want sure what to expect. Would I be able to focus surrounded by people? Would people book in with me? I learnt very quickly. Table manners. You simply can’t sit back and expect people to come to you, you need to interact, approach but not encroach and be friendly. Don’t get offended when people say no. What I do is not for everyone.
I don’t see others doing the same sort of service as competition (that just brings out the worst in people, exhibiting ‘poor me’ behaviours of ego, bitterness, reputation tittle tattle, jealousy and greed) there is.. dear readers.. No need or ultimate benefit. There is enough business, clients and opportunities out there for all. I walk my path with love and light. I was given gifts and I use them to help others. I had a great time and a busy weekend! Branching out and networking has been a positive and valuable experience. The community members have made me feel so welcome and have had lots of giggles with. I met new clients as the passed by my stall. Giving them a reading and helping them, I hope has been valuable. I aim to do many more shows. My sails have caught the breeze.

There is much reward in these event for all. From the talks, variety of products and services offered. A great community spirit. I do enjoy Lizian events as a visitor too. Always interesting talks and workshops. I’ve been introduced to products that I would not normally have even looked at before. Explored Meditations, old ways, new ways, beliefs, techniques and so on. Lots of benefits. Big thanks to Liz and Ian. They are both supportive, wise, know what they are doing and are lovely honest people. Big thank you to the helpers too at Lincolnshire showground and not forgetting the visitors. I’ve walked away with a renewed sense of.. ‘yes’ I did the right thing going part time self-employed. It’s hard work. But satisfying.
Last year, I was working all hours in a managerial job, that promised the world but delivered misery.. That pursuit of financial stability and ‘abundance!’ I was miserable, stressed out, exhausted, irritable, felt victimized. I then made a choice. I resigned from the corporate rat race and went off to San Francisco, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. A fantastic adventure.

Upon my return. I started a part time job in Pagan/Wicca sales in a shop and began to really pursue my tarot reading business. My passion is helping others. Yes I need to pay the bills. There are times of struggles. I also like a treat, a good gig, cheese, Rugby and adventuring. But you know what? I’m grateful for everything I have. My family, my friends, loved ones, pets.
When you sit on a bench looking out at the lake, watching the sunrise..with a flask of tea. Life is good.
This week I ran a Herbal Incense workshop at Rainbow Bridge in Castle Donington. Big thanks to my friend and ‘Yoda’ Sally Wathen. Who has taught me so much. Crystal Healing, Kinesiology, Hopi Ear Candling. http://www.rainbow-bridge.co.uk/
Being around positive folk is inspiring. Turning a card, getting its message, my guides advice, sharing knowledge. Going to events, talks, meeting spiritual minded folk. Finding answers, guidance, love, happiness, peace..new things. I sought, I asked, I am grateful.. I get. Things can be turned around. We can all be in pretty dark places, sometimes feel there are no answers. The risk is too scary or seems unobtainable. But if you don’t try..You will never know. Do you work to live or live to work. “Happiness resides not in possessions, and not in gold, happiness dwells in the soul.” “By desiring little, a poor man makes himself rich.” – Democritus
“Happiness is not in the mere possession of money; it lies in the joy of achievement, in the thrill of creative effort.” – President Franklin D. Roosevelt
The pursuit of happy.
Have a great adventure.

Today we wandered. .. And wondered. The wind spoke bitterly. The sunshine gave warmth. During times of reflection and emotion. The end of Autumn. The falling down of the green leaves I love so much in summer. We walked peacefully through Southwell Minster. Lit candles and set a prayer for peace.
Sending love to all of Mankind. Reflecting on how blessed I am. Acknowledging how hard I have worked and what I have discovered getting here. Yes… here to this moment. How important my loved ones are to me. I hope in 2016 more people can find their true peace, happiness and closure. More can accept we are allowed to have differing opinions. The politics of the present state of the world is for you to discuss. I help others. I’m not here to judge. My ideals and ambitions started at seed. They have grown into reality. They are true to the greater good and genuine.
The spirits that guide me. Their messages bring tears of relief. Knowing.. They are ok and that you miss them. Even though their physical embodiment is presently over. Their energies exist still.
