Its 2020! You and we made it!
We spent last night (December 31st 2019) sober (I don’t drink a lot nowadays) – I love my tea.
For New Year. I attended a Gong Bath, Cacao Ceremony, setting intentions. It was wonderful. We met, sat in a circle with amazing people on their own journeys. You enter as strangers, leave as friends, with a shared experience. Whilst fireworks were lighting up the midnight skies. We lay in our ‘nest’ journeying to healing vibrations and chanting, resetting. Into the early hours we planted our intentions and goals to seed. Thank you Mahala. Earthtones Sound Therapy
#unfoldment #nurturing cards were chosen. 2019 I lost to spirit 2 close aunties in my family and my business partner Sarah Louise Kay at Fenix Flames. It has been really hard. I’ve realised last year, I was caring so much for everybody else, I forgot a little bit about me. As I say to a lot of my clients. If you are not in a good place yourself, you can’t give as much to others to help them through their pain and troubles.
I encounter and help many people who seek solace from trauma, healing from bad experiences, loss. People who grasp onto hope, in the face of desperation. What I do enables people with self confidences and hope, to utilise their own strength, to move forward in life.
Let go of the past, live for today, dream for the future. – Angela

The sea has wonderful healing powers. Negative ions. Witch stones for protection. A place to meditate to the sounds of the waves lapping the shores. A place where the wind can blow away worries, burdens. A place to cleanse. Filmed Eastney Beach, Portsmouth 21.10.19.

Vlog Angela Barker. Glastonbury Tor. September 2019.
Angela suffers from an irrational fear of how she describes as ‘unsafe heights.’ – heights over water are easier for her. She attempted The Glastonbury Tor during the Blood Moon in 2015. But gave up. We watched it sat on the grass half way up. The time in September 2019 was right. Angela embraced her fear. A struggle. Shaking, feeling nauseous. She drew upon inner strength. The true grit determination and a very windy but beautiful say. She made it.
Embracing her fear.

Tarot Reading The Tarot is a form of divination, although the future is changeable the tarot can aid in decisions about your future, the Tarot aids in coming in contact with one’s Higher Self. And will answer questions that are about you, the Tarot is used 2 ways either with a closed question or an open question. However you may not always get the answer to the question you are asking, your subconscious may take control and ask the question to which you really seek the answer. The tarot card deck is made up of essentially two parts: 56 pictorial cards that are surprisingly similar to a regular deck of playing cards and 22 additional cards called the major arcane. These cards include pictures with names such as the Fool, The Devil, Temperance, The Hermit, The Sun, The Lovers, The Juggler, The Hanged Man and Death. Last night I spent the evening amongst cats. If you have not been to The Kitty Cafe in Nottingham and are a lover of these rescued furry felines please do and help with their upkeep. It’s a relaxing and wonderful environment. With an airlock to prevent curious escapees.

We all need to recharge. It’s been a busy year. I recently travelled to Wales to embrace its beauty and inspiration.
It’s really important to keep the balance and look after and invest in ones happiness. It’s very easy to let things get out of control. This wild ride can be scary, but also lead to a great adventure too.
Can you relate to the following? Neglect your wellbeing, become overwhelmed, overworked, exhausted, unhappy, unmotivated. Anxiety is the worry worm that can create so much suffering. This could lead to a number of issues in life, love, health, productivity, hope. Alone in a room full of people, alone in an empty room. When the dark never sees the dawn break. In a clear blue sky. The storm clouds linger. Depression can rear itself in lives that tick boxes of contentment and success. A smile can hide that Oscar Winner facade of hurt, confusion, despair. Pressure and stress creeps oh so thoroughly. If we don’t take action and learn how to deal with it and speak up. With the correct support. Whether that be a Doctor, Therapy, Diet, Sleep, Holistic Treatments, Meditation etc. These journeys that lead to answers, treatments, coping with life changing events to life changing good things. Can we work out all of our problems? I’ve witnessed the darkness, cushioned the fall after the climb. I’ve strengthened and helped nourish the roots that then slowly grow and blossom into the most beautiful thing. That doesn’t make me a heroine. It makes me human.
Money, fame, success for some. But how do you really measure wealth and appreciate happiness? The bottom line. Be grateful every day. Waking up to the wonder is a privilege. The Earth, Tree, Sky, Air, Sea… Just embrace and be who you always wanted to be. Follow your bliss. Don’t walk the path of others if it is not your own. Listen to your intuition.
A quick mention about Lizian events
Liz, Ian and team have been a great support to me. The community has inspired me and I feel privileged to be part of it.
We all can make the best of our lives. If it was easy, we’d all be doing it. Is it the journey, not so much the destination sometimes that we are most grateful for in hindsight?
Our Samhain Celebration. When the veil between is thinnest. We honour our loved ones and Ancestors.

Last year, I was working all hours in a managerial job, that promised the world but delivered misery.. That pursuit of financial stability and ‘abundance!’ I was miserable, stressed out, exhausted, irritable, felt victimized. I then made a choice. I resigned from the corporate rat race and went off to San Francisco, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. A fantastic adventure.

Upon my return. I started a part time job in Pagan/Wicca sales in a shop and began to really pursue my tarot reading business. My passion is helping others. Yes I need to pay the bills. There are times of struggles. I also like a treat, a good gig, cheese, Rugby and adventuring. But you know what? I’m grateful for everything I have. My family, my friends, loved ones, pets.
When you sit on a bench looking out at the lake, watching the sunrise..with a flask of tea. Life is good.
This week I ran a Herbal Incense workshop at Rainbow Bridge in Castle Donington. Big thanks to my friend and ‘Yoda’ Sally Wathen. Who has taught me so much. Crystal Healing, Kinesiology, Hopi Ear Candling. http://www.rainbow-bridge.co.uk/
Being around positive folk is inspiring. Turning a card, getting its message, my guides advice, sharing knowledge. Going to events, talks, meeting spiritual minded folk. Finding answers, guidance, love, happiness, peace..new things. I sought, I asked, I am grateful.. I get. Things can be turned around. We can all be in pretty dark places, sometimes feel there are no answers. The risk is too scary or seems unobtainable. But if you don’t try..You will never know. Do you work to live or live to work. “Happiness resides not in possessions, and not in gold, happiness dwells in the soul.” “By desiring little, a poor man makes himself rich.” – Democritus
“Happiness is not in the mere possession of money; it lies in the joy of achievement, in the thrill of creative effort.” – President Franklin D. Roosevelt
The pursuit of happy.
Have a great adventure.
